Poly 50 Litre Diesel Tank with Taper

Poly Diesel Tank 50L Taper Rectangular Universal Fitment - for Ute Tray or Wagon Floor mounting.

Dimensions: 1000mm wide x 350mm high ( 30mm for cap). Depth tapers from 200mm at the base to 150mm at the top.

The brass outlet fitting is 1/2" BSPT female thread and a hose adaptor to suit 3/8" (10mm) hose is included.

The taper refers to the depth profile, the tank is 200mm deep at the base and narrows to 150mm at the top. This angled shape is practical for ute trays or wagon floors where overhead clearance tightens above a wheel arch or tray rail. It allows the tank to sit flush against a wall or tray floor without needing perfectly squared clearances.

Is this tank designed for ute tray mounting, wagon floor mounting, or both?

Both are intended applications. The FTP50T's tapered profile helps it sit neatly against a tray wall or under a floor section. Straps or brackets are recommended to support the full loaded weight in either installation.

What fittings are included in the box?

The tank comes with a half-inch BSPT brass outlet fitting and a hose adaptor to suit three-eighths inch (10mm) hose. You will need to supply your own fuel hose, mounting hardware, and filler cap setup.

For gravity feed to work correctly, the outlet end should sit at the lowest point of your installation so fuel naturally draws toward it. Orienting the taper correctly during fitment is important for reliable fuel flow.

Order Dispatch

Orders are usually dispatched within 1-3 business days. Should there be any delays we will let you know immediately.

In order to get your purchase to you as promptly and safely as possible we utilise a number of trusted and reputable courier services, including Australia Post (depending on the item and your location). These delivery services should have your item delivered to your door within 2 - 10 working days depending on your location. In some cases where the address is based in the more regional parts of Australia this may take longer. Should the delivery time take longer than we would like we will let you know.

As soon as the item has been shipped we will provide you with a tracking number via email. You can then use this number to watch your item make it's way toward your location. It should also give you a clear idea of when to expect your item.

Depending on the item we may contact you to arrange delivery. In order to ensure your purchase lands in the correct hands we will require a signature from you on delivery. If you are not home on delivery the postman/courier will leave a card with collection details.
