20" Single Row EX2 LED Light Bar from Narva

The Narva EX2 series of driving lights and light bars are purpose-built for the hands-on 4WD enthusiast, while also being a great fit for fleet and transport vehicles. With impressive beam performance, hassle-free installation, rugged construction, and extensive customisation options, the EX2 range lets you light the way your way.

Its advanced hybrid beam delivers a perfect balance of width and distance, giving you clear visibility without dark or hot spots—ideal for driving in low-light and off-road conditions.

A game-changing internal switching system (patent pending) eliminates the need for a wiring harness in most vehicles (relay required for negatively switched systems), making installation incredibly simple—no need to run wiring through the firewall.

Please Note: Some states and territories may require an in-cabin switch—please check local regulations.

Built tough for Aussie conditions, the EX2 range features IP68 and IP69K sealing, a hard-coated polycarbonate lens, durable composite brackets, stainless steel mounting hardware, and is backed by a 7-year manufacturer warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between this single row and the 20" double row, and which should I choose?

The single row packs 18 x 5W CREE LEDs versus 36 in the double row, delivering 413m beam distance and 50m width at 1 lux, compared to 638m and 86m for the double row. The single row sits slimmer at 71mm tall versus 94mm, making it better suited to installations where height clearance is tight. It also draws less current, 4.4A versus 7.2A at 13.5V. If outright beam reach is the priority, the double row is worth the step up. If low profile and power draw matter more, the single row is the stronger choice.

Does the internal switching system mean I do not need a separate wiring harness?

On most positively-switched 4WDs, yes. Narva's patent-pending internal switching system connects directly to your high beam wire, no loom through the firewall required. You connect three wires: positive to the battery, yellow trigger to the high beam wire, and negative. Negatively-switched vehicles need an external relay. The included pigtail wiring lead handles most installs, so check your vehicle's wiring type before starting.

What is in the box?

The 20" Single Row kit includes a black lens protector and pigtail wiring lead. It does not include a full wiring harness, the internal switching system eliminates that requirement for most vehicles. If you have a negatively-switched system or want a dedicated relay-controlled circuit, source a compatible harness separately.

Do I need an in-cabin switch and is it required by law in my state?

NSW and QLD require an in-cabin switch for aftermarket driving lights and light bars. Other states and territories may also have specific requirements, check your local road rules before fitting. The bar activates automatically with your high beam via the internal switching system, but if your state mandates a separate in-cabin switch, that needs to be added to the circuit.

Where can I mount this, bull bar, roof rack, or elsewhere?

The 20" single row is 522mm wide and 71mm tall, making it a natural fit for most standard bull bar top rails and roof rack crossbar mounts. Its slimmer profile compared to the double row gives more clearance flexibility in tight mounting positions. Composite brackets and stainless steel hardware with Allen-key beam adjustment are included. Bonnet-mount configurations are not supported.

How does IP68 and IP69K sealing hold up in real-world off-road conditions?

IP68 covers continuous submersion and IP69K covers high-pressure, high-temperature wash-downs. In practice, the sealing is designed to handle harsh off-road exposure, including creek crossings, mud, red dust and wash-down conditions when correctly installed. The hard-coated polycarbonate lens also resists UV degradation and gravel impact, relevant when you are pushing through scrub or driving on corrugated outback tracks.

What is the current draw and will it cause problems for my vehicle's electrical system?

The 20" single row draws 4.4A at 13.5V on a 12V system, or 2.2A at 28V on a 24V system, a modest load that sits well within what standard aftermarket wiring can handle. If you are running multiple accessories, calculate your total draw to confirm your circuit is not overloaded.

What does the 7-year warranty cover and how is it claimed?

Narva's 7-year manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. As an Australian brand with a wide dealer network, warranty claims are handled locally through Narva's Australian support channels. IP68 and IP69K ratings are designed to protect against water and dust ingress under normal use when the unit is correctly installed, but warranty claims are still assessed by Narva based on installation, condition and use.

  • False “John just bought a…” alerts. Our customer alerts (bottom left) are 100% true and we're proud of them.
  • Being bombarded by trust badges and labels everywhere you look that mean nothing.
  • We don't spam! Your information is safe with us. It will never be shared or sold, or used to fill your inbox with garbage.
